In this piece, I highlight quarterbacks who stand out in our large suite of analytical fantasy tools, most specifically, our FantasyLabs Player Models. While the models are built for DFS contests, this is an all-purpose fantasy article with actionable information for all formats.

As news breaks throughout the week and we adjust our projections (powered by Sean Koerner), player ratings in our Player Models will change as the projections change. For updates, visit the models directly.

And don’t forget about the tools that FantasyLabs has to offer, like our Lineup Optimizer to effortlessly create up to 300 lineups, or use our Lineup Builder if you like to hand-build your lineups.

Finally, make sure to check out all the projections available for purchase (Chris Raybon’s come included with a FantasyLabs subscription) within the FantasyLabs Models. Top Model NFL DFS Quarterback Picks

Dak Prescott ($8,000 DraftKings, $8,700 FanDuel): Dallas Cowboys (-13) at Washington Commanders (47 total)

Dak Prescott delivered on Saturday night against the Lions, throwing for 345 yards and two touchdowns while averaging over nine yards per attempt. It marked the seventh time this year Prescott has eclipsed 20 DraftKings points, which feels low since he’s had such a stellar year.

He gets a matchup with the same Commanders defense that he carved on Thanksgiving. Prescott threw for 331 yards and four touchdowns on Turkey Day, averaging over 10 yards per attempt. Dallas needs a win to clinch the division, so they’ll surely lean on Prescott and the starters as long as the game is close.

There is a little worry about Dallas pulling the starters, but the only reason they’d pull the starters is if the starters gave them such a big lead that the game was over. To do that, Prescott will likely throw a few touchdowns.

He’s the top option in our Tournament and Cash Game Model this weekend.

Nick Mullens ($5,100 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel): Minnesota Vikings (+3.5) at Detroit Lions (45.5 total)

Despite four interceptions, Nick Mullens had a great fantasy day the last time these teams matched up. Mullens threw for 411 yards and two touchdowns in Week 16 against Detroit, totaling 23.54 DraftKings points.

The Lions have allowed the third-most DraftKings points per game to opposing quarterbacks on the year and the second-most yards per attempt over their past ten games.

We just saw Mullens ball out in this same matchup, and now Detroit could be incentivized to pull starters early as they have little to play for. Mullens is third in Projected Plus/Minus and Points/Salary among all quarterbacks.

He’s the top option in Chris Raybon’s Pro Model.

Carson Wentz ($4,500 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel): Los Angeles Rams (+4) at San Francisco 49ers (41 total)

Welcome back, Carson Wentz! The Rams are giving Matthew Stafford the week off as they’ve clinched the postseason, giving the former second-overall pick a chance to start in Week 18.

This game will be a backup fest on both sides, as Los Angeles will be without Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams, and Tyler Higbee as well on offense. Puka Nacua is expected to play, but he needs just three catches and 29 yards to break the rookie reception and receiving yardage records. Once he gets his accolades, he’ll probably be done for the day.

San Francisco is expected to rest a bunch of starters on both sides of the ball, which should make Wentz’s day easier. He’s a cheap, capable fantasy quarterback against likely a defense full of backups.

He leads the position in Points/Salary and is second in Projected Plus/Minus. Wentz is the top option in Sean Koerner’s Pro Model.

Other Notable NFL DFS Quarterback Picks

Jordan Love ($6,600 DraftKings, $7,800 FanDuel): Green Bay Packers (-3) vs. Chicago Bears (45 total)

Jordan Love continued his stellar second half of the season last week against Minnesota, throwing for 256 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for another en route to 28.44 DraftKings points. It was his sixth game of the year with at least three total touchdowns and his eighth time topping 20 DraftKings points.

He carved up Chicago in the season opener, throwing for 245 yards and three touchdowns. The Bears defense has been much improved lately, allowing the second-fewest yards per attempt over their last eleven games. This sample size does come against a slew of bad quarterbacks, including Desmond Ridder, Josh Dobbs, Bryce Young, Derek Carr, and Brian Hoyer. Kyler Murray (230 yards, two touchdowns, 32 rushing yards) and Joe Flacco (374 yards, three touchdowns) had solid days against this unit. Love also may have a full arsenal of weapons for the first time all year.

My Favorite NFL DFS Quarterback Leverage Pick(s)

Kyler Murray ($6,400 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel): Arizona Cardinals (+3) vs. Seattle Seahawks (47.5 total)

Kyler Murray has rounded into form recently, as he has over 20 DraftKings points in back-to-back games and in four of his last six. His most recent performance was his best, leading Arizona back from a 21-6 halftime deficit to beat the Eagles 35-31. He completed over 80% of his passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns while scrambling for 24 yards on the ground.

We’ve seen Murray utilize his legs more to extend plays when he’s healthy, and he looks fully healthy out there. He had a rushing touchdown in each of his first three games but hasn’t found the end zone in the past three weeks on the ground despite ten red zone rushing attempts.

We just saw Seattle give up over 11 yards per attempt to Mason Rudolph, and they’ve allowed the 14th-most DraftKings points per game to opposing quarterbacks this year. Seattle’s defense started the year strong but has crumbled as of late.

This Cardinals offense is potent, and I like Murray at fairly low ownership in tournaments.
