Matthew Freedman publishes comprehensive positional breakdowns for the main NFL DFS slate throughout each week.
We’ll highlight one of the top players from each position (according to our Models) and his analysis of their outlooks below, but be sure to check out the full versions of each breakdown for the best cash-game and GPP plays for Week 15.
QB Breakdown
Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
I have some healthy respect for the Browns’ pass defense, which has yet to allow a 300-yard passing game this season. But Murray is way too cheap. He hasn’t been as low as $5,600 on DraftKings since Week 2.
Priced as the No. 19 quarterback, Murray is No. 6 at the position with 20.3 DraftKings points per game. His salary is just out of line with the reality of his potential.
It would be nice if Murray were more accomplished as a passer, but because of his rushing prowess, Murray is more than viable as a fantasy producer, and that’s especially the case against the Browns.

RB Breakdown
Saquon Barkley, New York Giants
You don’t need me to tell you that this year has been a disappointment for Saquon. I don’t hold against him that he suffered an injury early in Week 3 and missed all of Weeks 4-6. NFL players get injured.
Still, in a vacuum, Saquon scares me.
But Barkley has a great matchup this week. The Dolphins are No. 29 in rush defense DVOA and No. 32 in pass defense DVOA against running backs.

WR Breakdown
DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans
This is a great spot for Hopkins, who is a priority for cash games and guaranteed prize pools.
No. 2 wide receiver Will Fuller (hamstring) missed last week and is questionable this week. If he’s out, Hopkins will likely see a significant increase in targets, but even if Fuller is active, Hopkins will still be in play: In quarterback Deshaun Watson’s 38 starts, Hopkins has been almost as productive with Fuller as without him despite seeing fewer targets.
One way or another, Hopkins is likely to get his.

TE Breakdown
Anthony Firkser, Tennessee Titans
The investment thesis for Firkser is straightforward.
He’s cheap: He provides great roster flexibility.
He’s going to differentiate lineups. Last week, he had a Millionaire Maker ownership rate of just 0.11%. On top of that, he was stacked with quarterback Ryan Tannehill in just 0.02% of Millionaire Maker lineups.
