After Friday’s Round 2 and the Masters cut that reduced the field to 53 players, we’ve reached the turn at Augusta National and are headed into the second half of this year’s tournament. It’s time for “Moving Day” on Saturday as players look to get in position for Sunday’s Final Round. For the second straight day, the course played over par, but Round 2 was less difficult than Round 1. Justin Rose is still in the lead after a -1 round on Friday moved his tournament total to -8. Bryson DeChambeau is alone in second after a -4 in Round 2. Rory McIlroy and Corey Conners are tied for third, while Matt McCarty, Shane Lowry, Tyrell Hatton, and defending champion Scottie Scheffler are all tied for fifth. With two more rounds of glorious golf ahead, there are many different ways to get in on the action with fantasy golf this week. One exciting way to jump into the action is with DraftKings Pick6.

DraftKings Pick6 Picks for the Masters
Rory McIlroy Less Than 69.5 Strokes
In single-round Pick 6, there are two kinds of Pick6 picks, and in this post, I’ll select one of each that stands out to me as a strong play. In the first style of pick, you pick a player’s score to be more or less than a certain number of strokes. For these picks, remember that par on this course is 72.
In Round 1, Rory was -4 with four holes to play before a pair of double-bogeys dropped him back to even par and could have left a bigger taste in his mouth coming into Round 2. Whatever he was feeling, it didn’t slow him down at all on Friday.
Rory started solid with a birdie and eight pars on the front nine, but then he caught fire on the back nine, going -4 in his first four holes after making the turn and adding another birdie at No. 15 before grinding out three pars to finish at -6 on the day with a score of 66.
If it weren’t for those two bad holes in Round 1, Rory would have had less than 69.5 strokes in each of his first two rounds at Augusta this season. He is striking the ball incredibly well this week, as he has been all season, and he should be able to keep things rolling on Saturday.
Finishing -3 or better is definitely no easy task, but Rory’s recent form is strong enough that I like him to finish with less than 69.5 strokes on Saturday, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’s the leader heading into the Final Round.
Editor’s note: Picks can lock and unlock on Pick6, so act fast!
Justin Rose more than 3.5 birdies or better
The second style of pick available for Saturday’s Round 3 is based on picking more or less “Birdies or Better” for a specific player. For this one, let’s jump right to the top of the leaderboard and go with Rose to make more than four birdies in Round 3.
In Round 1, Rose birdied the first three holes of the tournament and added five more birdies to blow past this projection and finish with eight birdies or better. In Round 2, Rose only had a -1 for the day but achieved that by making four birdies to go against three bogeys. Rose was even better off the tee in Round 2, hitting 12 of 14 fairways and converting that to 10 of 18 greens.
Even with the pressure of being the leader, the 44-year-old Englishman was able to keep things rolling on Friday, and I think he’ll continue to make birdies on Saturday as he continues his quest for his first Masters win. He may or may not have the lead at the end of moving day, but he should be able to find at least four birdies on the board in Round 3.
