How to place a PrizePicks lineup
Once you finish creating an account with PrizePicks and get your bonus funds, you can make your first PrizePicks lineup.
A PrizePicks lineup consists of two to six picks with player projections, and for each pick, you have to select whether the player will get more or less than the number listed. It is important to note that your picks can be made from different sports, and your lineup does not need to be limited to one league. For example, I could make a three-pick lineup with picks from the MLB, NBA, and the WNBA.
After you select your picks, you must finalize your lineup by placing it as a “Flex Play” or a “Power Play”. A “Flex Play” requires a minimum of three picks, but you can miss one of your picks and still have a successful lineup. The trade-off is that a “Flex Play” will lower the payout multiplier on your entry.
With a “Power Play”, you must get all your picks right to have a successful lineup. However, the payout is higher than with a “Flex Play”.
Below, I have created an example of a PrizePicks lineup for this Tuesday. As you can see, a successful three-pick “Power Play” has a payout multiplier of 5x, while a “Flex Play” has a payout multiplier of 1.25x or 2.25x depending on how many picks you get right.
