If you want to partake in DFS/pick’em games for this weekend’s sports events, there are few better options than PrizePicks. You can even sign up using PrizePicks promo code LABS100 to get a 100% deposit match offer.
The deposit match offer you get has a maximum value of $100. You would basically get an amount of bonus funds equal to the cash you put in, up to $100. So if I were to put in $50, I would receive $50 in bonus funds from PrizePicks.
The bonus funds you receive from PrizePicks must be used to place entries on the platform. You cannot just take them out to your bank account like cash funds.
PrizePicks DFS is currently available in these states: AL, AZ, IL, KS, VA, WY, DC, MA, AK, AR, CA, GA, KY, MN, NE, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
Placing an entry with PrizePicks
Making an entry with PrizePicks is an uncomplicated process. First, you have to make two to six picks with player projections from that day’s sports slate. Your entry can consist of picks on one sport or multiple. Each pick you make beyond the second one increases the payout multiplier of your entry.
There are also “Goblin” or “Demon” picks that you can make which have altered projections. “Goblin” picks are easier to hit on, but they lower the payout multiplier of your entry. “Demon” picks are the opposite: they are tougher to hit but increase the payout multiplier of your entry.
Once you select your picks, you have to determine whether the player will get more or less than the listed number. With “Goblin” and “Demon” picks, you can only select a player to get more than their projection.
Lastly, you have to choose whether your entry will be a “Flex Play” or a “Power Play”. A “Flex Play” lets you miss one of your picks, but lowers your overall payout multiplier. Meanwhile, a “Power Play” mandates that you hit on all your picks, but has a higher payout multiplier.
I have attached a visual representation of what an entry might look like on PrizePicks below.
Best Saturday NBA picks on PrizePicks
There are plenty of NBA games from which you can make picks this Saturday. Here are some options that I found intriguing.
- Bam Adebayo less than 22.5 points
- Tyler Herro more than 18.5 points
- Kevin Durant more than 23.5 points
Bam Adebayo could struggle as a scorer against the size of the Jazz frontcourt. Between Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, and Walker Kessler, they have enough interior defense to slow him down. Adebayo has scored less than 22.5 points in 7 of his last 10 games.
The Jazz backcourt players aren’t exactly the best at perimeter defense. No one would say Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, or Keyonte George can truly lock down their opponents. That could pave the way for Tyler Herro to have a great scoring night. Herro is currently averaging 20.8 points on the season and has scored more than 18.5 points in four of his last five games.
Kevin Durant is averaging 27.9 points per game this year, and it is clear that the veteran superstar is still one of the elite scorers at his position. He has scored more than 23.5 points in 7 of his last 10 games and will be facing a Rockets defense with no top-tier wing defenders.
