With this in mind, we’ve begun a “Trend of the Day” series. Every weekday we’ll walk our subscribers through an important trend for that day’s slate of games.

One thing that stands out to me in our Player Models today is guys who are moderately priced (let’s say under $7k on DraftKings), but have huge ceilings (let’s say over 50 DK points). Hey, that sounds like a great Trend! Let’s see how these players perform under these circumstances.

Trend: Players Under $7,000 with a Ceiling Over 50

Step 1: Player Filters > Salary > Set “3000 to 6900”

Step 2: Projections > Ceiling > Set “50 to 71.5”

Nice. That Plus/Minus of +5.04 is huge and just going through some of the recent matches, we’ve seen guys actually even explode past that ceiling. Take Dirk Nowitzki last night — he qualified for this Trend and crushed his salary expectation, finishing with 60.5 DraftKings points.
