OwnersBox is one of the unique DFS sites that still has traditional daily salary cap contests in addition to their Lightning Lineups contests.
In Lightning Lineups, the OwnersBox app will provide three sets of lineups for a given sport and slate, each lineup with three players. From there, users pick which lineup they think will score the most points. If you don’t like the options, you can spin for new lineups.
Spin. Pick. Win. OwnersBox innovative Lighting Lineups format is the most electric way to play daily fantasy sports.

NBA DFS Guard Picks
Jalen Brunson ($7,600) at San Antonio Spurs
The Knicks roll into San Antonio to face the Spurs on Friday night, setting up Jalen Brunson in a very favorable matchup. The Spurs have been the best matchup for opposing point guards all season, and in that spot, Brunson brings the highest median and ceiling projections of all the guards on Friday’s 10-game slate.
He should be relatively fresh since he only had to play 29 minutes on Wednesday in New York’s comfortable win over the Raptors, but he still posted a solid 26 points and seven assists. Over his 10 games since returning from injury, he has scored more than 25 points seven times, including two games with over 40. He has averaged 28.3 points, 6.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.8 steals per game during that stretch while playing 32.3 minutes per contest. He leads the team with a 37.7% usage rate and a 32.9% assist rate over those 10 games.
Brunson should be ready to roll against the Spurs, and he makes a good centerpiece guard to build around. Brunson has helped the Knicks climb into the third spot in the Eastern Conference, and they should be able to avoid the Play-In Tournament and go right into the playoffs, barring a collapse.
Josh Giddey ($4,300) vs. Phoenix Suns
The Thunder listed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quad) as doubtful for Friday’s game against the Suns. If SGA misses a second straight game, Josh Giddey would have to step up into a bigger role for the Thunder, who continue to battle for position at the top of the Western Conference. In his expanded role, Giddey has the highest Pts/Sal of all players at all positions on Friday’s OwnersBox slate. He edges out his teammate Jalen Williams, who is a strong option to pair with Giddey at forward/center as well.
Giddey stepped up with big totals in both games of OKC’s back-to-back to start the week. On Tuesday, he had 25 points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes in a win over the Pelicans. On Wednesday, with SGA sidelined, he poured in 31 points to go with seven rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes. Over his last 12 games, he has a 23.0% usage rate and has averaged 16.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 26.0 minutes per game.
With SGA off the floor this season, his usage rises to 32.6%, and his assist rate climbs to a team-high 26.7%. Giddey should be an excellent option to build around from his very affordable salary and is a strong play in a Superflex spot since he stacks up well against forward/centers on a value basis.
Some other value guards that bring high value based on Pts/Sal include Dalano Banton of the Trail Blazers, T.J. McConnell of the Pacers, and Jordan Poole of the Wizards.

NBA DFS Forward/Center Picks
Pascal Siakam ($6,200) vs. Los Angeles Lakers
The Pacers host the Lakers in a game that should feature plenty of fantasy production. The game has the highest Over/Under on the slate by a margin of almost 15 points. The Pacers have the highest implied team total on the board, while the Lakers have the second-highest implied team total. In that scoring-friendly environment, Pascal Siakam has the second-highest Pts/Sal of all forward/centers on the slate behind only the Thunder’s Jalen Williams.
Siakam and the Pacers were a disappointment Wednesday as they were blown out by the Bulls, but before that, they took three of the first four games on their tough road trip. In one of the games on that trip, the Pacers lost 150-145 to the Lakers in a thrilling, high-scoring contest, and Siakam finished with 36 points and 12 rebounds in 33 minutes. He and the Pacers will look to avenge that loss and bounce back after Wednesday’s defeat in their first home game in almost two weeks.
Since being traded to the Pacers, Spicy P has averaged 21.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 32.4 minutes per game. He scored at least 25 points in five of his last seven, averaging 25.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 30.5 minutes per game. During that run of success, he led the team with a 31.1% usage rate and posted four double-doubles, including his big game against the Lakers. He should excel again in the rematch, and is an excellent way to get an elite ceiling at forward/center without paying all the way up for one of the biggest names, whose salaries are significantly higher.
Trayce Jackson-Davis ($4,000) at Charlotte Hornets
The Warriors were without Jonathan Kuminga (knee, questionable) on Wednesday against the Magic, and Draymond Green was ejected after just four minutes. In that situation, Jackson-Davis seized that opportunity and rose to the occasion, playing over 30 minutes for the first time this season and grabbing 14 rebounds while chipping in eight points and three assists.
Because of his very affordable salary of just $4,000, Jackson-Davis has the fourth-highest Pts/Sal of forward/centers on Friday’s slate. He could start again if Kuminga needs another game off, but he even makes sense as a play off the bench, given how great a matchup he gets against the Hornets, who have been an outstanding matchup for opposing forwards and centers all season.
Jackson-Davis has averaged 10.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game in his 12 games this month while playing 23.0 minutes per game. With this great matchup and the potential for more work, he’s a great bargain option at just $4,000, and he leaves you plenty of salary to get the stars you want from the rest of Friday’s fabulous slate.
