Point Guard

Stud

Dejounte Murray ($10,200) has messed around in each of the last two games. Over the past 10 contests, he’s triple-doubled three times and fallen one rebound short in two others while being shy two assists in another. He’s scored at least 50 DraftKings points in seven of the last 10 games with four above 60 and a high of 73.5. He played the 76ers nine games ago and went for 53.25 DraftKings points. That’s quite the heater.

Value

Jalen Suggs ($5,500) has started the last two games and played 34 and 35 minutes, producing 35.75 and 46 DraftKings points. His usage rate was 33.1% and 25.8%. He has the ability to stuff the stat sheet, as evidenced by his last game: 22 points, four rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and two blocks. The Bulls are one of the better defensive teams in the league, but they boost the FPPM to shooting guards by 6.22%.

Fast Break

Ayo Dosunmu ($5,900) is expensive, but he can access a ceiling. Over the last four games, he’s put up 21.75, 38.75, 50.5, and 43.5 DraftKings points. He’s played at least 38 minutes in all of those contests. Now the usage rate is in the preteen area, but he has the ability to contribute in every statistical category. He’s dished out at least six assists in all four games with a high of 10. He’s racked up one, two, and five steals while grabbing five, three, 10, and four rebounds.

Shooting Guard

Stud

Terry Rozier ($7,700) has been scary consistent recently. Over the last 12 games, he’s converted 44% of his shot attempts with seven of those contests above 50%. He’s scored at least 40 DraftKings points in four straight and in seven of the last nine. The efficiency can’t be expected to continue, but he’s getting the volume and the contributions in rebounds and assists provide a relatively high floor. The Hawks boost the FPPM to shooting guards by 4.93%.

Value

Max Strus ($4,700) is shooting 41% from downtown on 6.5 attempts for the season. The Lakers allow the eighth-most three-point attempts in the league. With all the injuries for Miami, Strus has played 33, 32, 29, and 29 minutes over the last four games. He’s produced 19.5, 21.75, 28.25, and 24.5 DraftKings points. The Lakers are third in offensive pace, so there should be plenty of opportunities for fantasy goodies.

Fast Break

Gabe Vincent ($5,100) has started the last two games and played 38 and 37 minutes. He’s gone for 30.5 and 31.5 DraftKings points while dishing out nine and seven assists.

Small Forward

Stud

Jimmy Butler ($8,700) has been inconsistent recently. He’s scored fewer than 10 points in two of the last five games, but he triple-doubled in one of them. He’s a threat to triple-double on any given night, though, and has 60-DraftKings-points upside. The game environment should be a good one tonight.

Value

De’Andre Hunter ($5,100) is healthy and thriving without Cam Reddish on the roster. Over the last three games, he’s played 35, 34, and 35 minutes, contributing 32.5, 32.25, and 35.75 DraftKings points. The Hornets are second in offensive pace and boost the FPPM to small forwards by 10.31%.

Fast Break

Ziaire Williams ($3,700) has started the last eight games and has played 31 and 33 minutes in the two most recent contests. He’s primarily a 3-and-D player, so the floor is low, but he went for 30.25 DraftKings points in his last outing and can access that ceiling on any given night.

Power Forward

Stud

Kristaps Porzingis ($7,400) averages 1.26 DraftKings points per minute but often confounds. He’s scored fewer than 30 DraftKings points nine times this season but has gone over 50 three times with a high of 62.25. It’s a pace-up spot for Dallas, as Memphis is fifth in offensive pace. Against centers, the Grizzlies boost three-pointers by 25.91%. Porzingis attempts 5.2 per game.

Value

Chuma Okeke ($4,200) isn’t exciting, but if you need 20 DraftKings points, he will more than likely get it. Over the last eight games, he’s accomplished the feat seven times with a high of 31.5. He put up 19.5 in the game he missed. He hasn’t started the last two games after starting the prior five games, so there is a modicum of uncertainty, but if he gets around 20 minutes, he should provide close to 20 DraftKings points.

Fast Break

DeMar DeRozan ($8,900) has a usage rate of at least 32% over the last four games. He’s gone for over 40 DraftKings points in three of those contests. Orlando has been the best at negating FPPM to small forwards, though, at negative 20.55%.

Stud

Nikola Jokic ($12,200) is expensive, so it will come down to projected ownership and roster construction. He averages a ridiculous 1.75 DraftKings points per minute and has one of the highest floor/ceiling combos on the slate. Over the last three games, he’s gone for 69.25, 93, and 72.75 DraftKings points. L. O. L.

Value

LaMarcus Aldridge ($5,400) is expensive, and he likely won’t play more than 24 minutes. That said, I don’t like the value at the position for this slate. Over the last three games, Aldridge has played 23, 32, and 22 minutes, producing 24.75, 43, and 29.75 DraftKings points. Both Minnesota and Brooklyn are top 10 in offensive pace, and this game has a total of 238.5 according to the Vegas Dashboard, tops on the slate, so there should be plenty of opportunities for fantasy goodies.

Fast Break

Jusuf Nurkic ($8,600) has really stepped it up lately. Over the last four games, he’s gone for 62.75, 43, 62, and 47 DraftKings points. After averaging 27.1 minutes per game this season, he’s played 38, 28, 36, and 31 over the last four. Over the last 10 games, he’s played over 30 minutes seven times and gone for at least 40 DraftKings points in seven contests.
