Studs
This is quite possibly the most boring showdown slate of the entire year. Both of these offenses struggle to put points on the board, and the total on this game sits at just 39.5 points. Only one other game this season had a total of less than 40. The Steelers are currently listed as seven-point home favorites, so they figure to do the majority of the scoring.
Najee Harris is the most expensive player in this contest, and he’s the only player on either squad that stands out as a true “stud.” The Steelers drafted him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and he has operated as a clear workhorse. He’s racked up 128 rushing attempts this season, and no other running back on the roster has more than eight. He’s also garnered every running back carry from inside the 20, 10, and five-yard line.
Harris has also been a major factor catching passes out of the backfield. He’s racked up 49 targets through the first seven games, which is the second-highest mark on the team. Overall, he’s averaged 5.3 receptions and 39 receiving yards per game to go along with two touchdowns.
