Both pitchers will have to deal with estimated wind gusts of six miles per hour blowing out to center field.
Indians (-234) at Royals (+213) — 8:15 PM EST
Indians in: Greg Allen
Indians out: Brandon Guyer (left knee contusion)
The Indians are without Brandon Guyer, who is currently dealing with a left knee contusion. They’ll roll with Francisco Lindor, Michael Brantley, and Jose Ramirez at the top of the order for their matchup against the Royals. The Indians are presently implied to score an impressive 5.6 runs, which is the fourth-highest mark in Wednesday’s main slate. Overall, only Lindor and Roberto Perez have failed to post positive wOBA and ISO splits vs. right-handed pitchers over the past calendar year among Indians starters. They’re especially in play on DraftKings, where they boast the main slate’s second-highest Team Value Rating. Trevor Oaks will try to do better in his second start of the season, as he allowed 12 hits and five runs in hist five innings against the White Sox back in April. Oaks will at least need to do a better job limiting big hits, as he ranks among the main slate’s bottom-two pitchers in average batted ball distance, exit velocity, and hard-hit rate allowed over the past 12 months. Both offenses could benefit from estimated wind gusts of seven miles per hour blowing out to left field.
