MLB DFS Tools: PlateIQ Overview

Use the Fanatics Sportsbook promo to bet on Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees.

FantasyLabs has an abundance of DFS tools to offer, like our Lineup Optimizer and Lineup Builder, and now we’re introducing PlateIQ.

What is PlateIQ?

  • A matchup tool for MLB DFS, sports betting, and pick’em.
  • Designed to easily view — with color-coded context — batter vs. pitcher matchups for the day.
  • Includes key stats, advanced stats, context stats, and split stats to help a DFS player or bettor understand exactly who is in the lineup and how the stats compare side by side.
  • View stats at the player or team level.
  • Compare a pitcher’s long-term performance to recent performance, including recent game logs and pitch usage.
  • Use the information to:
    • Isolate pitchers to target
    • Isolate stacks to target
    • Isolate individual players to target

Here’s an example of what the hitter’s view looks like — with the option for basic or advanced metrics:

PlateIQ Key Benefits

  • Organized: easy to get the data that is necessary to make predictions in one place.
  • Simple: weeds out the endless sea of baseball stats to just the core of what you need.
  • Fast: eliminate manually creating spreadsheets, switching to and from multiple sites, and spending too much time researching baseball so you can spend more time building lineups.

That about sums it up!
