With Tevin Coleman out and Jeff Wilson questionable, Mostert’s lead-back duties are secure. And last week, the 49ers showed they prefer Mostert to Jerick McKinnon.
Now comes a likely shootout against a Rams defense that is weakest at linebacker. The explosive Mostert has had at least 15 receiving yards in each of the three games he’s played this season.
