Which quarterbacks have the most favorable matchups for fantasy playoffs? Who is the best streaming option? And who has a poor matchup?
Here’s a breakdown of five notable quarterbacks featured in Sean Koerner, Chris Raybon and Matthew Freedman’s Week 15 fantasy football rankings.
The No. 1 QB
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
It’s going to be difficult for Mahomes to come down from the No. 1 spot with his fantasy dominance. He leads all quarterbacks this season in fantasy points per dropback (0.69), and he’s had just one game with fewer than 20 fantasy points.
Mahomes is once again the unanimous top ranked quarterback.
The Most Favorable Matchups
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Jackson banged up his ankle near the end of the Ravens’ game against the Chiefs, but his X-rays came back negative and he’s fully expected to play this week. He’ll square off against a Buccaneers defense that’s allowing 6.3 yards per play, the second-highest mark in the league that trails only the Raiders.
Additionally, over the past four weeks, Jackson’s 0.75 fantasy points per dropback is second among all quarterbacks over that span.
He checks in with an average rank of 5.3 among our rankers.
Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams
Goff should be in a prime bounce-back spot against an atrocious Eagles secondary. The Eagles have allowed the fourth-highest yards per play and the third-most passing yards per game (277.4). They’re extremely vulnerable in the back end after losing two corners for the season, along with two other starters battling injuries.
The Rams’ 31.25 implied team total leads the slate. Goff has also historically dominated at home, averaging 27.22 fantasy points per game in Los Angeles since Sean McVay became the head coach.
Matchup Downgrade
Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Winston draws one of the worst matchups on the board against a Ravens defense that’s allowing a league-low 4.7 yards per play. The road game doesn’t bode well for a quarterback who has the highest interception rate (4.4%) of his career.

The Best Streamer
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Allen has shown tremendous rushing ability over the past three weeks, which is going to keep him in play as a streamer.
Allen’s 490 rushing yards leads all quarterbacks this season despite playing only nine games. He’s also tied with Dak Prescott for a position-high five rushing touchdowns.
