FanDuel Sportsbook is now live in Massachusetts, which means you can sign up and get $200 in bonus bets after your first $5 bet. Use this for Wednesday’s NBA slate, or any other game this week. Just use our FanDuel promo code link below to activate the offer.
Bonus bets are like a credit in which you keep any profits from those bets, but not the bet amount itself. So if you put $20 on the Celtics to beat the Bucks at +110 in a hypothetical matchup, you’d profit $22 in cash, but wouldn’t keep the $20 bonus bet itself.
If you’re not in the state of Massachusetts, have no fear. There’s still a new-customer bonus for you to take advantage of. Sign up with FanDuel Sportsbook and you can get their famous “No Sweat First Bet” up to $1,000 meaning if your first bet loses, FanDuel will pay you back in bonus bets up to $1,000.
If you’re in Massachusetts, you get FanDuel’s welcome bonus of $200 in bonus bets after your first $5 bet, meaning all you have to do is place a bet of at least $5 and FanDuel will deposit $200 in bonus bets into your account — win or lose.
FanDuel’s bonus bets expire in 14 days, and can be split up into any amount you’d like. So you can place one, $200 bet or 200, $1 bets. And anything in between.
How to bet on Thursday’s slate
Use FanDuel’s boost for a Wolves-Lakers parlay
If you’re looking to get in on the NBA betting action on Wednesday evening, there are some great games with betting value for you to look at. Here’s one of my favorite betting ideas for the night, involving two teams in the Western Conference.
The first game to look at is the Timberwolves hosting the Hawks in Minneapolis. Both of these teams had rough starts to the season but have started to round into shape as the playoffs approach. As of right now, both of these teams would have to go through the Play-In Tournament before qualifying for the playoffs, but the standings are packed tight and there’s enough time left for things to shift in major ways.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Wolves at -176 on the moneyline, and I don’t see a world where they don’t come away with a win at home. They’re one win away from being .500 again, and with Mike Conley in the backcourt, Rudy Gobert is starting to hit his stride. To increase the payout, let’s add one more team to this mix.
The second game to look at is the Lakers hosting the Suns in Los Angeles. The most important thing to note with this game is that Kevin Durant and Deandre Ayton will both be sidelined. This opens the door for Anthony Davis to have a monster game in front of the home fans in what feels like a must-win for the Lakers. They’re currently half a game out of the 10 seed, and if they want to have a shot at the playoffs, they’ll need to string together a couple wins. This is an opportunity they can’t miss.
FanDuel Sportsbook has the Lakers at -102 on the moneyline, so if you parlay that with the Timberwolves moneyline (-176), FanDuel will give you +210 odds. That’s wonderful value on these two home teams who desperately need wins. Getting +210 odds means that if you bet $100, you’ll win $210 if the Wolves and Lakers both win.
