This Monday Night Football slate begins in South Beach when the Miami Dolphins take on the Tennessee Titans. Fanatics Sportsbook is favoring Miami by 2.5 points.

I can see why the Dolphins are favored now that Tyler Huntley is starting at quarterback, but I am more interested in over 37 total points. This is just such a low number and there is enough skill talent on the field to generate a good amount of offense.

Titans-Dolphins Pick: OVER 37 points

Huntley has shown that he is a competent NFL backup QB, and that puts Miami in a better spot than starting Skylar Thompson or Tim Boyle. Throughout 20 career games, Huntley is completing 64.6% of his passes for 1,957 yards, eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, and also has 509 career rushing yards.

I would also expect Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel to design some quarterback-friendly plays that involve Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De’Von Achane.

It is much more difficult to trust Titans QB Will Levis since he already has eight turnovers (5 INTs & 3 lost fumbles), but Tennessee’s offense likely won’t have to do much for the over to hit. It still has proven wide receivers in DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley, and there’s always the chance that one of Levis’ turnovers gives Miami good field position.

Neither defense enters this game in a great position, either. The Dolphins are allowing 24.0 points per game, and while the Titans are fifth in yards allowed per game (263.7), they won’t be at full strength with Jeffery Simmons and Chidobe Awuzie likely both out, and L’Jarius Sneed and safety Amani Hooker both questionable to play.
