Damian Lillard has gotten off to a dreadful start this season, but he’s started to turn things around. He’s posted a positive Plus/Minus in three of his past four games on FanDuel, and he’s coming off 40.6 FanDuel points in just 30.8 minutes in his last contest.

Lillard also remains priced at a discount on FanDuel, where his $8,500 salary comes with a Bargain Rating of 92%. Lillard has historically posted an average Plus/Minus of +3.59 with a comparable salary (per the Trends tool), so he has some buy-low appeal. Once his shooting numbers regress to the norm, he’s going to smash this price tag.

Value

The 76ers are going to remain a popular source of value on Tuesday’s slate. They’re still dealing with COVID issues, and Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle, and Isaiah Joe all remain out of the lineup. Ben Simmons also remains away from the team, so there are plenty of minutes and shot attempts available vs. the Bucks.

Shake Milton played 22 minutes in their last game, but he saw at least 33.8 minutes in each of his previous two. Milton has averaged 0.98 DraftKings points per minute this season, so he has the potential to be an incredible value if he returns to a large minute workload. His $5,200 salary on DraftKings also comes with a Bargain Rating of 93%.

Fast Break

Jrue Holiday returned to the Bucks lineup two games ago, and they moved him back into the starting lineup in their last game. He played just under 30 minutes in that contest, and his playing time should continue to trend up. He’s priced down across the industry.

Reggie Jackson is worth some consideration on FanDuel, where his $6,100 salary comes with a Bargain Rating of 83%. He’s posted a positive Plus/Minus in three straight games, and he’s displayed a ceiling of 47.0 FanDuel points over that stretch.

Stud

The Jazz stand out as arguably the top team to target on Tuesday. They own a great matchup vs. the Hawks, who rank just 27th in defensive efficiency to start the year. The Jazz lead the slate with an implied team total of 115.5 points, and no other team is implied for more than 111.75.

Donovan Mitchell has been the Jazz’s top offensive option this season. He’s filled that description for the past few years, but he’s taken his game to another level this year. He leads the league with a usage rate of 36.0%, which represents an increase of +2.5% compared to last year. Mitchell hasn’t seen a boost in fantasy scoring, but he’s also shot the ball poorer than usual. He’s posted career lows in field goal, 3-point, and effective field goal percentage, so he’s due for some positive regression moving forward.

Mitchell is a particularly strong target on FanDuel given his Bargain Rating of 87%.

Value

Seth Curry played more than 40 minutes yesterday for the 76ers, but his usage rate was lower than expected. He still finished with 27.8 FanDuel points, but he has the upside for a better performance on Tuesday. Curry has averaged just under a fantasy point per minute with Embiid, Harris, and Simmons off the court since the start of last season, so he’s a strong option at just $5,200.

Fast Break

If you’re fading Lillard, C.J. McCollum becomes an interesting option. They own a negative correlation, so one tends to do well when the other does poorly. McCollum is also underpriced on DraftKings, where his $7,200 salary comes with a Bargain Rating of 86%.

Sticking with the Blazers, Anfernee Simons has quietly been a nice source of value recently. He’s posted a positive Plus/Minus in five straight games on DraftKings, and he’s scored at least 21.75 DraftKings points in four of them. He remains very affordable at just $3,800, so that would be more than enough production at his current salary.

Small Forward

Stud

Paul George has been fantastic to start the year, but he’s posted a negative Plus/Minus in two straight games. That said, he’s still played at least 37.7 minutes in both contests, but he’s shot just 31.0% from the field and 11.8% from 3-point range. George is a much better shooter than that, so he’s another strong regression candidate on Tuesday. Overall, George has posted a career-best 34.0% usage rate, and he’s also increased his rebound rate and assist rate when compared to last year.

Value

Furkan Korkmaz has been killing it for the 76ers recently. He’s posted a positive Plus/Minus in four straight games, and he’s coming off 39.8 minutes in his last game. Korkmaz probably won’t see quite as much playing time on Tuesday, but he could make up for that with a boost in per-minute efficiency. He’s averaged 0.99 DraftKings points per minute with the 76ers’ “big three” off the court since the start of last year, so he’s massively underpriced at $4,900 on DraftKings.

Fast Break

Both of the Bogdanovic brothers – no relation – have some appeal on this slate. Bojan is coming off a poor performance in his last contest, but he scored at least 28.0 FanDuel points in each of his two previous games. Bogdan has posted a positive Plus/Minus in back-to-back games, and he’s coming off his second-most minutes of the year in his last outing. He’s underpriced on FanDuel given his Bargain Rating of 87%.

Joe Ingles is also underpriced on FanDuel. His $4,400 salary comes with a Bargain Rating of 92%, and Ingles has historically been an excellent investment at that price tag. He’s posted an average Plus/Minus of +4.70 with a comparable salary since the start of 2017.

Power Forward

Stud

Giannis Antetokounmpo is available on Tuesday’s slate, and he’s obviously a viable target. He’s one of the best players in fantasy, and he’s averaged a stout 1.72 FanDuel points per minute this season. His matchup vs. the 76ers isn’t ideal on paper – Antetokounmpo owns an Opponent Plus/Minus of -3.02 on DraftKings – but the 76ers aren’t the same defensive team given all their absences.

Giannis is a bit pricy at $11,400 on DraftKings, but he’s much easier to fit at $11,300 on FanDuel. He owns the top ceiling projection in our NBA Models.

Value

Bobby Portis has the potential to be one of the best values on the slate. He moved into the Bucks’ starting lineup in their last game and played more than 30 minutes, and Portis responded with 45.25 DraftKings points. Portis has historically been an elite producer on a per-minute basis, and he’s posted an average Plus/Minus of +14.57 in games where he’s played at least 26 minutes as a member of the Bucks. If he remains in the starting lineup, he’s a very tough fade at his current salary.

Fast Break

Robert Covington has scored at least 26.0 FanDuel points in three straight games, but he remains reasonably priced across the industry. Covington’s per-minute production is down a bit to start the year, but he’s historically been a solid producer in that category. He’s a better fit on FanDuel given his ability to rack up stats in the defensive categories.

John Collins leads the position with nine Pro Trends, and he’s posted an average Plus/Minus of +4.88 to start the year. His salary remains reasonable at $6,800, resulting in a Bargain Rating of 76%.

Andre Drummond will start his second straight game in place of Embiid, and he’s significantly more expensive than he was yesterday. That said, he’s still one of the best values on the slate. He’s scored at least 50.5 FanDuel points in both games without Embiid this season, and he’s historically been one of the best per-minute producers in fantasy. He played 38.4 minutes in yesterday’s game, so he’s still too cheap across the industry. Just lock him into your lineups and move on.

Value

I would strongly recommend paying up for Drummond, but if you have to go with a value option, Hassan Whiteside has some appeal at $4,100 on DraftKings. He’s averaged 1.29 DraftKings points per minute this season, and he has a decent ceiling for his price tag. He’s scored at least 26.5 DraftKings points in two of his past four games.

Fast Break

If you want to pivot off Drummond in large tournaments given his massive projected ownership, Rudy Gobert is probably your guy. He’s been a monster on the glass this season, and he’s averaged 1.36 DraftKings points per minute.

Tuesday features a three-game slate starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
