This piece will identify some of my favorite NFL DFS stacks of the weekend. Be sure to use our Stacking tool within our Player Models to find the highest projected stacks, the stacks that figure to be chalky, and more. Our Correlation Dashboard is also an excellent resource for finding hidden edges in stacking positions and games.
You can also plug these stacks into our Lineup Builder to hand-build the rest of it, or you can optimize it with our projections. And if you like to create multiple lineups, our Lineup Optimizer allows you to effortlessly create up to 150 lineups.
The Lineup Optimizer has endless customization opportunities.
Rhamondre Stevenson + Amari Cooper
- Rhamondre Stevenson ($6,000 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel)
- Amari Cooper ($5,900 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel)
Damien Harris is going to miss the next few weeks after suffering a hamstring injury against the Lions in Week 5, thrusting Stevenson into a bell-cow roll. He had already been trending upward, having gotten 12 and 14 carries in Weeks 3 and 4 before going bananas last week after Harris left early.
Stevenson turned his 25 carries into 161 yards while adding a pair of receptions for an additional 14 yards. He failed to find paydirt and still finished with 22.5 DraftKings points. Now he gets a Browns defense that has allowed the fifth most DraftKings points to opposing running backs. Austin Ekeler just dropped a 16/143/1 line on them while hauling in four balls for 26 yards and another score through the air, good for 38.9 DK points. You get the point. Stevenson will be a workhorse for a team that will continue to hide its starting quarterback and for some reason only costs $6,000 on DraftKings.
He’s the best play on the entire slate.
You don’t have to play anyone alongside him, but if you want to run it back look no further than Amari Cooper. The Browns have played three home games so far this season; Cooper’s stat lines in those games read 9/101/1, 7/101/1, and 7/76/1. In the two road games Cleveland has played, Cooper has a combined four catches for 26 yards and zero touchdowns.
The Browns will be hosting the Patriots this week. You can bet Bill Belichick will do what he could to limit Nick Chubb in this game, which will allow Cooper to get his.
I love this mini stack, and it’s a very intelligent way to get unique if playing the likely mega-chalky Stevenson.
Ken Walker III + Zach Ertz + Rondale Moore
- Ken Walker III ($5,400 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)
- Zach Ertz ($4,900 DraftKings, $6,000 FanDuel)
- Rondale Moore ($4,200 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel)
Another spot where a clear bell-cow running back is severely underpriced. Rashaad Penny, unfortunately, broke his fibula and will undergo season-ending surgery, while Travis Homer is on injured reserve til at least Week 7. This leaves the 41st overall pick in the 2022 draft, Ken Walker, and pass-catching back/special-teamer DeeJay Dallas as the only two healthy bodies for Seattle.
Walker is just $5,400 on DraftKings this week in a game that features a 50.5 total. KWIII came on in relief of Penny last week and looked phenomenal, posting 88 yards on just eight carries, which included a 69-yard touchdown run. He, along with Rhamondre Stevenson, are going to be two of the highest-owned running back plays on the slate this week, which is why adding some pieces from the Arizona side is a nice way to gain leverage without getting too cute.
Marquise Brown could of course be included in this, but the path of least resistance in attacking the Seattle defense is through the tight end position, who just gave up a touchdown to Adam Trautman last week and have now allowed the most DraftKings points to opposing tight ends on the season.
Zach Ertz has gotten double-digit targets in three of his past four games and has scored over 10 DraftKings points in every game this season. He is Kyler Murray’s security blanket and should see another healthy workload this week in an A+ matchup.
I very much like throwing Rondale Moore onto this stack, who costs just $4,200 on DraftKings this week and is coming off his best game of the season last week. The speedster caught seven-of-eight targets against the Eagles for 68 yards and also received two rush attempts as well.
If you play Moore with Ertz, it’s like playing a $9,100 wide receiver who is likely to see 18-20 targets in a fast-paced, high-scoring environment.
As mentioned above, this will also help you get unique if you play Walker, who you should absolutely be playing this week.
- Deebo Samuel ($7,600 DraftKings, $7,600 FanDuel)
- Jeff Wilson Jr. ($6,200 DraftKings, $7,200 FanDuel)
- 49ers D/ST ($3,700 DraftKings, $4,700 FanDuel)
Deebo Samuel + Jeff Wilson Jr. + 49ers D/ST
This stack is betting on a very specific game script occurring, which is that the 49ers absolutely overwhelm the Falcons and all of the touchdowns go through Deebo/JWJ. We know Kyle Shanahan wants to run the ball as much as possible and limit Jimmy G from throwing more than 30 times if he could.
We have yet to see Deebo fully break out this season, and that game could very well be coming this week. The way this works is very simple, Deebo has one of his insane efficiency performances either on the ground or through the air, the Niners take a big lead and ride Jeff Wilson Jr. to salt the game away, while the San Fran defense completely shuts down Marcus Mariota and the Atlanta offense.
Last week the matchup with Carolina was not that great for Wilson, but the Niners dominated the game rendering that completely moot and allowing JWJ to find the paint and hit the 100-yard bonus. Wilson should be a lock for another 18-20 carries this week, while Samuel will get his usual two-to-three rush attempts and eight-ish targets that he hopefully turns into a couple of touchdowns.
The 49ers have allowed both the fewest rushing yards and passing touchdowns in the NFL while also allowing the third-fewest passing yards. They also lead the NFL in quarterback pressure rate.
This is a nasty unit facing off with a severely banged-up Falcons offense that will be without Cordarrelle Patterson and potentially Kyle Pitts.
