This piece will identify some of my favorite NFL DFS stacks of the weekend. Week 17 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks
C.J. Stroud + Nico Collins + Dalton Schultz
- C.J. Stroud ($5,500 DraftKings, $7,300 FanDuel)

- Dalton Schultz ($4,300 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel)
He didn’t catch my eye at first glance, but as time went on, C.J. Stroud became my favorite option for the weekend.
He has big splits when it comes to pressure, throwing for just 5.4 yards per attempt when pressured and 9.4 yards per attempt when not under duress. Tennessee has the ninth-lowest pressure rate in the league and has been a consistent pass defense that we target.
We’ve seen Stroud light up other pass-funnel defenses, going for 44.8, 25.04, and 33.86 DraftKings points against the Buccaneers, Bengals, and Jaguars. It is worrisome that he is returning from a head injury, but I’m willing to buy in.
With Stroud out of the lineup for a little bit, people seemed to forget how elite Nico Collins‘ role is now. The last time we saw a full game with Collins and Stroud playing, Collins caught nine balls for 191 yards and a touchdown. With Tank Dell off the field and Stroud playing, Collins has seen a 28.5% target rate per route run and a 26% target share.
This is also a matchup to attack. as Tennessee is allowing the second-most receiving yards per game to perimeter receivers, where Collins plays over 80% of his snaps. Tennessee has allowed the fifth-most DraftKings points per game to receivers, and there’s no reason to expect them to right the ship here.
Dalton Schultz will go overlooked this week and is another member of this Houston passing game that benefits greatly from Stroud returning and Tank Dell being sidelined.
He still had fine games with Stroud out, catching four of five targets for 58 yards and eight of 11 targets for 61 yards.
With Stroud in the game and Dell out, Schultz has a 28% target rate per route run compared to 16% with Dell in the game. The Titans have allowed the fewest DraftKings points to opposing tight ends, but they have allowed the seventh-most yards per target. They’ve only allowed one touchdown, which feels a little flukey, in my opinion.
Schultz is affordable and will be low-owned while being a part of one of the best stacks of the weekend.

Christian McCaffrey + Curtis Samuel

I was originally planning on writing up the Washington passing stack with Christian McCaffrey on the other side, but Jacoby Brissett being added to the injury report late in the week with a hamstring injury worries me. He may not even start, and if he does, who knows how effective he’ll be. Stroud is now my top quarterback of the weekend.
However, regardless of who is playing quarterback for Washington, Curtis Samuel is an attractive option who can soak up targets. Samuel caught five passes for 52 yards and a touchdown last year when these teams played. He has a cheap tag on an offense that will likely see an elevated number of pass attempts.
I’m expecting Washington to be trailing in this spot, as San Francisco is nearly a two-touchdown favorite. To go one further, I’m expecting Christian McCaffrey to big a big part of the 49ers’ ability to build a lead.
The matchup is a smash for McCaffrey on the ground, as Washington has allowed the fifth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing backs. The Commanders have allowed a back to exceed 100 scrimmage yards in seven straight games, and we just saw Breece Hall go for over 40 DraftKings points against them.
