Week 14 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks

Sam Darnold + Justin Jefferson + TJ Hockenson + Drake London

  • Sam Darnold ($6,100 DraftKings, $7,600 FanDuel)
  • Justin Jefferson ($7,800 DraftKings, $9,200 FanDuel)
  • TJ Hockenson ($4,300 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel)
  • Drake London ($6,400 DraftKings, $7,900 FanDuel)

The Minnesota Vikings have won five consecutive games after a come-from-behind victory against the Cardinals last week. Despite looking vulnerable, the Vikings keep finding a way to win and now hold a 10-2 record entering Week 14. They are 5.5-point home favorites against the Falcons, implied for 25.5 points.

The Vikings have only six rushing touchdowns this season, which is tied for the second-lowest in the league. That has put more pressure on quarterback Sam Darnold, and he has delivered. Darnold has averaged 33 passing attempts per game in his last five games and has thrown for at least two touchdowns in five of his last six games. Now he draws a favorable matchup against the Falcons.

Through 13 weeks, the Falcons have been a below-average pass defense. Opposing wide receivers are averaging 33.9 fantasy points per game, which is tied for the sixth-highest in the league. Their 24.3 points per game allowed rank just outside the top 10. With a healthy 45.5-point total, expect a high-scoring game at U.S. Bank Stadium this week. Both passing attacks rank in the top 10 in passing yards per game.

Darnold leads all quarterbacks with five Pro Trends and also leads the position in projected ownership on FanDuel while ranking second in ownership on DraftKings. He is a fantastic play in all formats this week.

It has been five weeks since Justin Jefferson has topped 100 receiving yards and seven weeks since he last hit paydirt. Jefferson is due for a ceiling performance and will get a strong matchup against the Falcons secondary. He has scored a touchdown in nine of his last 15 home games and now would be a great time for the star wide receiver to get back on track.

Due to his poor recent performances, Jefferson only costs $7,800 on DraftKings, which provides an 86% Bargain Rating. He still leads the Vikings with a 30% target share and 39% of the air yards. It took a while for Jefferson to get going last week, but when he was needed the most, Jefferson delivered 67 receiving yards in each of the final three Vikings drives to take the lead.

Not only does a Darnold and Jefferson pairing look great this week, but so does adding tight end TJ Hockenson. Since returning from injury, Hockenson has been a boom-or-bust fantasy producer in his five games played. He has yet to score a touchdown, but Hockenson has two games exceeding 15 DraftKings points and three games where he failed to record more than five DraftKings points.

Priced at only $4,300 on DraftKings, Hockenson is a cheap way to get exposure to this Vikings stack. The tight end position continues to be flooded with potential, and Hockenson leads them all with eight Pro Trends. He has caught nearly 75% of his targets and has an 18% target share this season. Hockenson has displayed a ceiling that is worth getting exposure to in a Vikings stack.

Instead of bringing this back with Bijan Robinson, who has a tough matchup, we are going to Falcons wide receiver Drake London. He is coming off a season-high 16 targets last game, where he caught nine passes for 86 yards. Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw four interceptions in a close loss but honed in on London all over the field. In a revenge game for Cousins, I like him to bounce back in this spot.

The Vikings are a pass-funnel defense. They lead the league, allowing only 81.3 rushing yards per game, but allow opponents to throw for 243.3 yards per game, which is the fifth-highest in the league. London has a team-high 28% target share this season. He is projected for the second-highest ownership at the wide receiver position on DraftKings and is the ideal bring-back for this Vikings stack.

This will be a popular game to stack, but playing in a dome in December is always intriguing. Let’s hope for a shootout at U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 14 with the Vikings leading the way.

Baker Mayfield + Bucky Irving + Mike Evans + Jakobi Meyers + Brock Bowers

  • Baker Mayfield ($6,400 DraftKings, $8,100 FanDuel)
  • Bucky Irving ($6,600 DraftKings, $7,700 FanDuel)
  • Mike Evans ($7,200 DraftKings, $8,400 FanDuel)
  • Jakobi Meyers ($5,600 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel)
  • Brock Bowers ($6,500 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel)

It is time for a full-on game onslaught. I love this spot for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders. Both offenses right now are very concentrated, which is perfect for targeting in tournaments. The Buccaneers are 6.5-point home favorites, with this game total rising to 46 points.

The Buccaneers have won back-to-back games to bring their record to 6-6, which currently is tied for the division lead with the Falcons. With a great chance to capture three straight wins, the Buccaneers are implied for 26.5 points, which is the second-highest on the slate, against a pitiful Raiders defense.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield is having the best season of his seven-year career. He has posted a career-high 70.8% completion percentage and 101.3 quarterback rating while throwing 25 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. Mayfield currently ranks fifth among all quarterbacks with 22.0 DraftKings points per game. His touchdown numbers have been down recently, but this is a great bounce-back passing matchup.

The Raiders are allowing 27.8 points per game this season, which is the fifth-highest in the league. Seven of the Buccaneers’ last nine games have gone over the total points line, so if the 46-point line is low, we can expect another shootout in this contest. I love this spot for both the Buccaneers and Raiders.

Bucky Irving returned to practice today following a missed practice yesterday with a hip injury. He is trending in the right direction, but keep an eye on his status the closer we get to Sunday. Irving is coming off by far the best game of his rookie season. He had 28 total touches with 185 all-purpose yards and one rushing touchdown. Irving has now posted 27 and 30 DraftKings points in back-to-back weeks.

Since the Buccaneers’ Week 11 bye week, Irving has taken over this backfield. Rachaad White‘s snaps have plummeted and Irving has captured a majority of the backfield rushing attempts. With an increased workload and an elite rushing matchup, it does not matter that Irving’s salary has jumped across the industry. Pair Irving with Mayfield to capture all of the Buccaneers points this week.

Mike Evans also returned to practice on Friday and should be good to go for this week. He is coming off a season-high 28.8 DraftKings points last week when he caught eight of his 12 targets for 118 yards and one touchdown. Evans had a 35% target share and is the clear top passing option for Mayfield with Chris Godwin out for the season. Cade Otton is also in play, but I prefer getting exposure to Evans more often.

White has scored a touchdown in three straight games, while Evans has at least one touchdown in seven of his last nine home games. I love this spot for both White and Evans this week.

The Buccaneers defense has been exploitable this season, which makes this onslaught that much more intriguing. The Raiders took the Chiefs down to the wire last week, and Aidan O’Connell looked great, throwing for 340 yards and two touchdowns. O’Connell is firmly in play, but I prefer Mayfield on the other side. However, both pass catchers, Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers look fantastic in this matchup.

Since Week 4 when Davante Adams stopped playing for the Raiders, Meyers has a 29% target share. He has at least 11 targets in three of his last four games and is the primary wide receiver for the Raiders. Meyers looks like a great play and is projected for a slate-high 20% ownership at his position this week.

Brock Bowers may look even better. He has a team-high 30% target share since Week 4 and is averaging 13.3 targets per game in his last three contests. Bowers has surpassed 33 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. It may be difficult to pay up for tight end this week, but Bowers is worth every penny. He has turned into the best tight end in the league for fantasy. Load up on this game in Week 14.
