Notable NFL DFS Price Increases

Justin Herbert, QB (Los Angeles Chargers) Week 12 DraftKings Price $7,000; Week 13 DraftKings Price $7,200

Currently 11th in fantasy points per game at the quarterback position, Herbert is trending up again after hitting a price floor of $6,000 two weeks ago.

Herbert posted a three-touchdown game Sunday against the Cardinals for the first time since Week 2. He has two straight games with a positive Plus/Minus games after five straight in the red.

The Raiders struggle to get pressure in the pocket with the fewest sacks in the league. With Keenan Allen back healthy and Mike Williams potentially returning to the lineup, Herbert should have plenty of time and weapons to continue his upward momentum in fantasy lineups.

Josh Jacobs, RB (Las Vegas Raiders) Week 12 DraftKings Price $7,700; Week 13 DraftKings Price $7,900

What a season so far for Jacobs. He currently leads all running backs in both rushing yards and fantasy points after an incredible 303 total yards against the Seahawks last week.

In his fourth NFL season, Jacobs has already surpassed his career high with 1,159 rushing yards and needs just 23 receiving yards to top his career-high mark of 348 yards.

Jacobs continues to receive a massive workload, with 20+ touches in each of his last four games. At the sixth-highest running back salary, Jacobs is still undervalued for the production he is delivering.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR (Detroit Lions) Week 12 DraftKings Price $6,400; Week 13 DraftKings Price $7,100

St. Brown showed out on Thanksgiving Day with nine receptions for 122 yards and a score against the Bills. As the definitive No. 1 receiver for the Lions, his fantasy potential is high whenever Jared Goff can get the offense moving.

In each game where the Lions have scored at least 20 points, St. Brown has produced at least 13 DraftKings points. In the three games the Lions have not reached that threshold, he has not made it to double digits.

With the Lions’ implied point total over 20 points, this week should be another good performance for St. Brown at this price point.

Dalton Schultz, TE (Dallas Cowboys) Week 12 DraftKings Price $3,800; Week 13 DraftKings Price $4,100

Fantasy owners may have their eye on Schultz as the shiny tight end of the week after his two-touchdown performance on Thanksgiving Day.

Schultz has a total of just seven receptions for 53 yards in the last two weeks. He is a touchdown-dependent fantasy option, but he could certainly find the end zone again this week with the Cowboys’ offense continuing to impress.

If you need a mid-tier tight end, Schultz is a low-floor option with double-digit point potential.

Notable NFL DFS Price Decreases

Lamar Jackson, QB (Baltimore Ravens) Week 12 DraftKings Price $8,000; Week 13 DraftKings Price $7,800

No doubt, Jackson is one of the most exciting players in the NFL. He continues to make plays with his legs rushing for 755 yards on the season, second in the league to Justin Fields.

Despite his immense talent, it has not resulted in big fantasy numbers as of late. Jackson has posted a negative Plus/Minus in eight games in a row, with only two 20+ point performances and a high of 254 passing yards.

The Ravens continue to fizzle in the second half of games. Expect that to continue this week as Jackson faces a great Broncos defense.

Alvin Kamara, RB (New Orleans Saints) Week 12 DraftKings Price $7,300; Week 13 DraftKings Price $7,000

The Saints’ season continues to disappoint in New Orleans, and Kamara continues to disappoint in fantasy lineups.

After a solid four-game stretch in Weeks 5 through 8, Kamara has fallen off a fantasy cliff with a high of 12.9 DraftKings points in his last four games. He’s had 16 touches or less in all four weeks with only four total red zone chances and no touchdowns.

Until the offense can find some life, Kamara cannot be considered a top-tier running back option. There are better players to take a chance on in his salary range.

Brandin Cooks, WR (Houston Texans) Week 12 DraftKings Price $5,200; Week 13 DraftKings Price $5,000

The well-traveled receiver is in a difficult spot with this struggling Texans offense. Cooks has eight negative Plus/Minus results in his 10 games this season.

Expectations were high coming into the season that Cooks would be the beneficiary of the Texans playing catchup through the air most weeks, but that has not come to fruition. He has a high of 82 receiving yards and just one touchdown this year.

With some trade deadline drama and a quarterback change adding to the pile of challenges, it’s tough to trust Cooks to make a late-season comeback.

Cole Kmet, TE (Chicago Bears) Week 12 DraftKings Price $3,900; Week 13 DraftKings Price $3,800

Kmet has had two disappointing fantasy games in a row after a two-game stretch of 20+ DraftKings point performances.

Aside from those two bright spots, he has not topped 10 points in any other game this season and seems relegated to two to four short receptions each week.

There are other tight end dart throws in this area with higher upside potential.
