Week 11 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks

Brock Purdy + Christian McCaffrey + George Kittle + Kenneth Walker III

  • Brock Purdy ($6,600 DraftKings, $8,400 FanDuel)
  • Christian McCaffrey ($8,300 DraftKings, $9,800 FanDuel)
  • Jauan Jennings ($5,300 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel)
  • Kenneth Walker III ($7,000 DraftKings, $7,800 FanDuel)

Last week could have been so much better for the 49ers offense, but they struggled to find the end zone. They had 413 total yards but attempted six field goals while only making three. Their 23 points held off the Buccaneers for a victory, but the potential was there in their first game back off the bye week.

This week, an even bigger game awaits with the 49ers hosting their division rival, the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers are nearly touchdown home favorites, implied for 27.25 points, which is the second-highest on this 11-game slate. We are going right back to the well with the healthy 49ers roster.

Similar to last week, Brock Purdy is projected to be the highest-owned quarterback on the slate on DraftKings. Purdy is coming off his best game of the season, throwing for 353 yards and two touchdowns. He may not be forced to throw 36 times again this Sunday, but Purdy can still rack up fantasy points in a hurry with all of his weapons around him. Purdy has also rushed a career-high 46 times for 4.9 yards per carry and three touchdowns. Being a dual-threat quarterback boosts his ceiling.

In his first game of the season, Christian McCaffrey did not see a light workload. Not all that surprising from Head Coach Kyle Shanahan, who loves to lean heavily on one running back. McCaffrey played 89% of the offensive snaps, while his backups Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo only played 5% each. He also ran a route on 79% of Purdy’s drop-backs and ranked second on the team with a 21% target share.

McCaffrey could not get much going against a stout Buccaneers run defense last week, rushing for only 39 yards on 13 carries. However, his usage in the passing game is what sets McCaffrey apart from the rest of the running backs in the league. He caught six of his seven targets for 68 yards. Despite only finishing with 16.7 DraftKings points, the usage was what we needed to see. Have no fear locking in McCaffrey this week despite him being the most expensive running back on the slate. It is so nice to have him back!

Looking to save a little bit of salary in this game stack, Jauan Jennings is the third 49ers player to target. Jennings came back last week from his own injury after missing the previous two games. He came back and basically played the Brandon Aiyuk role and then some. Jennings led the team with 11 targets and a 33% target share last week while running a season-high 95% of routes.

Jennings is second on the team behind George Kittle in every receiving statistic. He has 32 receptions on 47 targets for 497 yards and three touchdowns. All of which are on pace for Jennings to have the best season of his career. Jennings is less popular than Deebo Samuel and Kittle, which will make this a unique stack. Trust the usage, and let’s hope Jennings either finds the end zone or reaches 100+ receiving yards.

Note: Be sure to monitor the status of Jennings (ankle).

For a bring-back, the Seahawks have a plethora of options to choose from now that DK Metcalf is healthy again. However, to make this stack even more unique, pairing McCaffrey with Kenneth Walker III is the route I want to take. Walker III is coming off a season-high 28 touches last week with 25 carries and three receptions. He played 76% of the snaps, while his backup Zach Charbonnet played a season-low 26%.

It is obvious when the game matters a little extra that Walker III will receive the bulk of the Seahawks workload. A divisional game after losing two straight, it is safe to say this is a big game for the Seahawks. Walker III has received a career-best 4.9 targets per game, so even in a trailing game script, he can be effective. This is my favorite game stack of the week. We have seen a few divisional games this year shoot out, and this 49ers and Seahawks matchup is capable of a high-scoring affair on Sunday.

Drake Maye + Kayshon Boutte + Davis Allen

  • Drake Maye ($5,600 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel)
  • Kayshon Boutte ($3,500 DraftKings, $4,900 FanDuel)
  • Davis Allen ($2,500 DraftKings, $4,200 FanDuel)

In order to fit all of the studs in great spots like Christian McCaffrey, Justin Jefferson, Alvin Kamara, etc., we need a cheap game stack that still has upside. This Patriots and Rams stack is quite possibly the lowest we will ever find, but I absolutely love it. Let’s break down the cheapest stack ever.

Rookie quarterback Drake Maye did not have to do much in the Patriots’ sloppy victory over the Bears last week, 19-3. He only threw for 184 yards and ran for 24 yards. Both of which are very low compared to his averages when Maye has started. In order for Maye to reach his full potential, he needs to be pushed like we have seen in all of his other games when the Patriots were in a trailing game script.

The Rams, behind veteran quarterback Matt Stafford, love to push the pace. They are tied for ninth with 26.7 seconds per play and rank seventh with a 60.5% pass rate. With Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp healthy again, the Rams will make sure they are putting pressure on the Patriots defense.

Not only has Maye proven to be a legit passing threat with two games having over a 70% completion rate, but he has also utilized his legs when necessary. Maye ran for 95 yards against the Titans just two weeks ago. In his last five games, Maye has averaged 4.6 rushing attempts and 44.2 rushing yards per game. Priced near the bottom at the quarterback position on both sites, Maye is an elite value option.

Pairing Maye with second-year wide receiver Kayshon Boutte is the best way to attack the Patriots offense this week. Boutte is currently projected to be the highest-owned wide receiver on DraftKings at 21.4%. The main reason for that is his usage. He ran a route on 100% of Maye’s drop-backs last week and 98% the week before. Boutte has had six targets in each of his last three games and is only $3,500.

The former LSU product is starting to come into his own and be the #1 receiving threat in this Patriots offense. He led the team with a 29% target share last week and caught four receptions for 47 yards. He does not have to do much to pay off his incredibly cheap salary. The Rams are allowing a 5.9% fantasy boost to opposing wide receivers compared to the league average. This is a fantastic matchup for the Maye and Boutte pairing. He will likely be a cash-game staple but is a strong value in tournaments.

Let’s save even more money and plug in the cheapest tight end option on DraftKings. Davis Allen is the stone minimum $2,500 this week after the best game of the season. Allen has taken over the #1 tight end option from Colby Parkinson, who has not had a target in the last two games. Allen ran a season-high 88% of routes last week and contributed with five receptions on six targets for 34 yards.

The Patriots defense limited the putrid Bears offense to 154 total yards and captured nine sacks against rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The Bears obviously have their own troubles, but Stafford is a completely different test. Stafford’s wide receivers Nacua and Kupp will draw most of the attention this week, leaving Allen on an island in the middle of the field against linebackers. He just proved that he is capable of hauling in over 80% of his targets last week. Why not run it back again with Allen this week?

This Maye-Boutte-Allen stack only costs $11,600 on DraftKings. There is $6,400 remaining per player, and that is not including the defense. Gamers want to fit in their favorite players, and this is the best way to do so. Plug in this super cheap stack and have some fun with differentiating the pieces around it.
