Let’s run through a few players to consider at each position as you’re putting together your lineups.
Quarterbacks
Joe Burrow (LSU): $8,500 DraftKings, $10,200 FanDuel
Likely the most improved QB of the 2019 season, Burrow has jumped from 61st to ninth in Independent Quarterback Rating (min. 50 attempts). Burrow’s on-target throw rate has also improved from 70.7% (113th) in 2018 to 88.9% this season while throwing deeper (he’s averaging 7.9 air yards per attempt compared to 4.52 last season).
Burrow also has an implied team total of more than six touchdowns versus a Vanderbilt passing defense that ranks 120th out of 137 (or in the 12th percentile) of qualifying defenses in QBR Against.
