After Carolina traded elite RB Christian McCaffery to San Francisco, current Carolina RB D’Onta Foreman has stepped up in a big way, averaging 4.9 yards per rush to go along with his 3 TDs. Atlanta, meanwhile, has gone with a platoon strategy for its running game, giving Cordarelle Patterson, Tyler Allgeier, and Caleb Huntley just about equal snaps. We expect Atlanta’s 3 RB approach to continue tonight, much to the dismay of those who start the three in DFS and fantasy football.
- Kyle Pitts – The entire football world has wondered when Falcons TE Kyle Pitts will have a breakout game this year after his monumental 2021 rookie season. Could tonight be the night? Certainly it could be. Pitts will get a lot of targets, if nothing else, due to his immense size and talent. But the Falcons have stuck to the run lately, so Pitts might have an overall limited role in the game. Still, few would be surprised if he gets a TD and has a solid game against the woeful Carolina defense.
