Baseball is back! Check back here throughout the day for updated blurbs as teams confirm their lineup. We’ll keep you updated on some of the day’s highest-impact trends by utilizing our Models and Vegas dashboard. Projected and confirmed lineups for every game can be found on our MLB Daily Lineups page.

Phillies (+117) at Nationals (-127) — 7:05 PM EST

Nationals in: Wilmer Difo

Nationals out: Daniel Murphy (traded), Matt Adams (traded)

The Nationals traded Daniel Murphy to the Cubs, and Matt Adams to the Cardinals during their Tuesday afternoon fire sale. They’ll roll with Adam EatonTrea Turner, and Bryce Harper at the top of the order for their matchup against the Phillies. The Nationals are presently implied to score a strong 5.1 runs and are especially in play on DraftKings, where their Team Value Rating is tied for the fourth-highest mark in Tuesday’s main slate. Overall, Harper, Anthony Rendon, Ryan Zimmerman, and Matt Wieters form the fifth-highest rated four-man stack on DraftKings in the Bales Model. This is all bad news for Vincent Velasquez, who has allowed the fourth-highest hard-hit rate over the past 15 days in Tuesday’s main slate. Velasquez will have his hands full with a Nationals lineup that has combined to post a strong .323 wOBA vs. right-handed pitchers over the past 12 months. Be sure to monitor the weather, as current forecasts call for an estimated 68 percent chance of precipitation.

Yankees (-213) at Marlins (+195) — 7:10 PM EST

Yankees in: Austin Romine (head)

Yankees out: Didi Gregorius (bruised left heel)

The Yankees placed Didi Gregorius on the 10-day disabled list due to a bruised left heel. Brett Gardner, Giancarlo Stanton, and Aaron Hicks will get things started for a lineup presently implied to score a respectable 4.5 runs. Gardner in particular is set up well against righty Pablo Lopez, as he’s posted positive wOBA and ISO splits vs. right-handed pitchers over the past 12 months. Any exposure to Stanton in his return to Miami should be focused on DraftKings, where his $4,900 price tag comes with a 94 percent Bargain Rating and six Pro Trends. Lopez hasn’t exactly done a great job limiting big hits in recent starts, allowing a home run in five consecutive outings. Overall, he’s one of nine pitchers in Tuesday’s main slate that have allowed at least 1.5 home runs per nine innings pitched over the past calendar year. The Yankees’ implied team total opened at 4.9 runs, but has since dropped to 4.5.
