Dodgers (-110) at Pirates (+102) — 7:05 PM EST

Dodgers in: Justin Turner (sore left wrist)

Justin Turner didn’t suit up Tuesday due to a sore left wrist, but he’ll return and bat third for a Dodgers lineup currently implied to score a respectable 4.4 runs against the Pirates. His teammates are set up well against righty Trevor Williams, as Turner is the only Dodgers batter without positive wOBA and ISO splits vs. right-handed pitchers over the past 12 months among their top-six batters in the order. Max Muncy in particular is in play on FanDuel, where his $3,100 price tag comes with a 93 percent Bargain Rating. Still, Williams has historically done a great job limiting bit hits, ranking among the main slate’s top-four pitchers in average batted ball distance, hard-hit rate, and home run rate allowed over the past calendar year. The Dodgers-Pirates’ matchup currently has the most pitcher-friendly Weather Rating in Wednesday’s main slate.

Tigers (+190) at Red Sox (-208) — 7:10 PM EST

Tigers in: Niko Goodrum

Tigers out: Jeimer Candelario (jammed right middle finger)

Jeimer Candelario is sidelined with a jammed right middle finger, so the Tigers will roll with Niko GoodrumNick Castellanos, and Miguel Cabrera at the top of the order for their matchup against the Red Sox. They’re currently implied to score just 3.7 runs, and have combined to post a slate-low .275 wOBA vs. southpaws over the past 12 months. Additionally, the Tigers have combined to strike out every .271 at bats over the past calendar year – the fifth-worst mark in Wednesday’s main slate. This is all great news for Eduardo Rodriguez, who is currently the second- and third-highest rated pitcher on DraftKings and FanDuel, respectively, in the Bales Model. Rodriguez will look to continue to limit big hits, as he ranks among the main slate’s top-four pitchers in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate allowed over the past 15 days.

Athletics (-113) at Rangers (+104) — 8:05 PM EST

Athletics in: Chad Pinder

Athletics out: Matt Joyce (tight lower back)

Matt Joyce has been placed on the 10-day disabled list due to a lumbar strain and the team has recalled Nick Martini from the minors in a corresponding roster move. The Athletics will start Mark CanhaDustin Fowler, and Chad Pinder from left to right field, and they’ll bat eighth, first, and ninth, respectively, for a lineup presently implied to score an impressive 5.2 runs. The Athletics are especially in play on FanDuel, where they carry the main slate’s second-highest Team Value Rating. Overall, Fowler, Jed LowrieKhris Davis, and Matt Olson form the main slate’s second-highest rated four-man stack in the Bales Model on FanDuel. They’re set up well against Bartolo Colon, who has allowed slate-high marks in average exit velocity and hard-hit rate over the past 15 days. Colon has allowed the main slate’s fifth-highest home run rate over the past 12 months and faces an Athletics lineup that has combined to post a .331 wOBA vs. right-handed pitchers – the fourth-best mark in Wednesday’s main slate.
