Week 4 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks

Joe Burrow + Zack Moss + Ja’Marr Chase + Diontae Johnson

  • Joe Burrow ($6,900 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel)
  • Zack Moss ($5,900 DraftKings, $6,900 FanDuel)
  • Ja’Marr Chase ($7,700 DraftKings, $9,200 FanDuel)
  • Diontae Johnson ($5,600 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel)

My favorite game to stack this week is the Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals. There are so many different avenues to take. Flood your tournament lineups with this projected shootout.

With their backs against the wall at 0-3, it is hard to imagine the Bengals not playing desperate this week. They are 4.5-point road favorites, with their 26-point team total tying the second-highest on the slate.

Joe Burrow has slowly looked better each of the first three weeks and is coming off a ceiling game of 28 DraftKings points. He completed 29 passes on 38 attempts with 324 yards and three touchdowns.

The Panthers are an ideal matchup for Burrow and this Bengals stack. Through the first three weeks, they are allowing a league-high 31.7 points per game. The Panthers are an exploitable matchup for what should be a high-powered Bengals offense.

Getting Tee Higgins back in the receiving core was a bonus despite only catching three passes for 39 yards. He still ran a route on 95% of Burrow’s dropbacks, which is encouraging. Higgins will be a target of mine in tournaments at lower projected ownership, but he doesn’t crack my favorite stack.

Instead, one of the best wide receivers in the game Ja’Marr Chase is the preferred target. Chase finally broke out last week, catching two of Burrow’s three touchdowns and totaling 118 yards. Despite the big game, Chase’s price tag remains affordable on DraftKings at $7,700 compared to FanDuel at $9,200.

The Burrow to Chase stack is elite, but adding running back Zack Moss makes this stack more unique. Moss has clearly been the Bengals RB1 over Chase Brown. He has 12 carries in each of the last two games while playing 82% and 77% of the snaps. Moss is the goal-line back and also has been running more routes than Brown. It is impossible to ignore his upside at $5,900 on DraftKings and $6,900 on FanDuel.

What makes Moss look even better is the matchup on the ground against the Panthers who are allowing 151.3 yards per game, which is the fifth-highest in the league thus far. He is a great addition to this stack.

Arguably, the best play on the slate is our bring-back Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson. Fellow wide receiver Adam Thielen has gone to the IR, and veteran quarterback Andy Dalton has revived the Panthers offense. Johnson has the highest projected Plus/Minus and leads the slate with seven Pro Trends. He is coming off a monster game against the Raiders with eight receptions on 14 targets for 122 yards and one touchdown. That was just his sixth touchdown reception in the last three seasons.

Getting exposure to this game in a variety of ways is the best way to attack this slate in tournaments. With a game total of 47.5 points, both the Bengals and Panthers have plenty of avenues to success. Do not be afraid to get unique on the Panthers side of the ball, especially at the wide receiver position.

With the Bengals, prioritize Ja’Marr Chase and Zack Moss. They have a ton of upside and can both hit just like we saw last week. The Bengals simply NEED this game.

Kyler Murray + Marvin Harrison Jr. + Greg Dortch + Terry McLaurin

  • Kyler Murray ($6,800 DraftKings, $8,700 FanDuel)
  • Marvin Harrison Jr. ($7,500 DraftKings, $8,200 FanDuel)
  • Greg Dortch ($4,300 DraftKings, $5,000 FanDuel)
  • Terry McLaurin ($5,800 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)

After a disappointing Week 3 from the Cardinals stack, we are going back to the well in Week 4. The matchup against the Commanders is impossible to ignore, especially coming off a short week.

The biggest news on the Cardinals is the status of tight end Trey McBride. After missing another practice on Thursday, it is becoming more likely that he will be unable to play this week. McBride had a 30% and 29% target share the first two weeks before that. Assuming that McBride will be out, that opens the door for both Greg Dortch and Michael Wilson to earn more targets.

Priced very similarly on both DraftKings and FanDuel, it is a true toss-up between Dortch and Wilson. Make sure to mix in both when stacking the Cardinals this week. Dortch gets the call for this stack, assuming he will live in the middle of the field with McBride unable to play.

The real alpha in the Cardinals receiving group is rookie first-round pick Marvin Harrison Jr. After a 10% target share in Week 1, Harrison Jr. had an over 30% target share in back-to-back weeks with three touchdowns and 194 total receiving yards. His salary may seem high, but the rookie already has a knack for accumulating fantasy points. It helps he is playing in an up-tempo offense.

Through the first three weeks, the Commanders defense has allowed 29.3 points and 255.7 passing yards per game, both of which rank near the bottom of the league. They are allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks and wide receivers. This is a match made in heaven for Kyler Murray and his receiving core.

After a hot start last week, the Cardinals hit the brakes. They were unable to stop the Lions on the ground, which limited their offensive opportunities. This week should be much more high-paced, with this game leading the slate with the highest total at 50.5 points. Both the Commanders and Cardinals are poor defensively, yet love to fill it up offensively which makes this an elite game stack.

The Cardinals’ 27-point team total leads the slate. This is a great spot for Murray, who has yet to score a rushing touchdown. His dual-threat ability puts him at the top of the quarterback tier with the third-highest projected ceiling on the slate. The Commanders is a perfect bounce-back matchup for him.

Similar to the Bengals and Panthers game, getting exposure to both sides of this Cardinals and Commanders game is the best way to go. Jayden Daniels has the highest projected ceiling and will be the most popular quarterback on the slate after his second 28-DraftKings point game of the year last week.

Daniels was finally able to connect a few times to veteran Terry McLaurin, including the game-winning 27-yard touchdown reception. McLaurin finished last week with 100 yards and one touchdown despite only six targets. The chemistry is growing, and McLaurin is reasonably priced across the industry.

McLaurin is the preferred bring-back in the Cardinals stack. Expect his target share to continue to rise, and he has a chance to break out in what is a projected shootout in Arizona this week.
