After a one-point game in the NFL Wild Card round last season, the Detroit Lions host the Los Angeles Rams once again, this time on Sunday Night Football. Detroit is favored by 4.5 points, and I like that spread for the Lions in NFL Week 1.

The Lions come into this contest with much of the same squad that lost to 49ers in the NFC Championship last season. Playing at home in a dome helps Detroit as well. Detroit is not one-dimensional on offense, as Jared Goff threw for 4,575 yards and 30 touchdowns last year, while David Montgomery rushed for over 1,000 yards and Jahmyr Gibbs was slightly behind with 945 yards on the ground.
