The pair recently hopped on Fantasy Flex to discuss their rookie fantasy football quarterback rankings, and one somewhat contrarian take about two rookie quarterbacks. In the latest episode of the Fantasy Flex podcast, discussions sparked about whether LSU’s Jayden Daniels, who threw 40 touchdowns and only 4 INTs while rushing 1134 yards and 10 touchdowns, could become the next Lamar Jackson.
Chris Raybon didn’t hold back in his praise for Daniels. “I just love the upside of Jayden Daniels… he has massive rushing upside and I think that’s really what you have to target at quarterback this year,” Raybon said. He appreciated Daniels’ ability to not just move on the field, but also showcase a strong arm, which was evident in his college days.
Raybon is putting his projections where his mouth is. In his 2024 fantasy football QB rankings, Jayden Daniels is listed as his QB12, right ahead of Caleb Williams at QB13.
Sean Koerner still prefers Williams over Daniels but agrees that Daniels does have top-10 upside as a rookie.
