Best NBA picks on PrizePicks
This Tuesday’s main sport will be the NBA, with exciting matchups such as Heat-Bucks and Kings-Suns. You can make picks on the NBA games this evening as part of your PrizePicks entry. Here are three selections I thought made sense for tonight’s slate.
- Jaylen Brown More than 21.5 points
- Cam Thomas Less than 22.5 points
- Chet Holmgren Less than 7.5 rebounds
Jaylen Brown has been an inconsistent scorer this season but is still averaging 22.0 points this year. In two matchups against the Nets this year, he averaged 25.5 points while surpassing the 21.5 points mark in both games. The Nets aren’t a particularly good defense this year, ranked 20th in the NBA. Brown will have the usage and the circumstances to get more than 21.5 points here.
Cam Thomas is the Nets’ primary scorer this season, averaging 21.4 points. Though the Nets will rely on him to score, he will face an elite defensive backcourt against the Celtics which consists of Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. They have the length and athleticism to cause problems for Thomas, which is why he could get less than 22.5 points here.
It is fair to say Chet Holmgren’s rebounding has improved as of late. He is averaging 8.9 rebounds over his last ten games. However, Orlando has the size between Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter Jr., and Jonathan Isaac to have Holmgren get less than the 7.5 rebounds mark.
Once you select your picks, you can have two options in terms of how you place your entry. A “Power Play” means that you have to hit on all of your picks, but have a higher payout multiplier. Meanwhile, a “Flex Play” allows you to miss on one of your picks, but lowers your payout multiplier. In the example below, my payout multiplier is 5x with a “Power Play”, meaning I would get $100 if I placed an entry of $20.
