Jayson Tatum is the primary offensive option on the Celtics, with a usage percentage of 29.9 this season. He is also averaging 4.5 assists on the season. The 2.5 assists projection is low enough for him to hit in the flow of the game, given how much the team relies on him for his offense. This is a “Goblin” pick, which means that it is easier to hit but also has a lower payout multiplier. The opposite of a “Goblin” pick is a “Demon” pick, which is tougher to hit but gives you a higher payout multiplier on your entry.
Zion Williamson is questionable for the Pelicans when facing the Lakers, and that means Brandon Ingram might have an increased scoring load. Ingram is averaging 21.7 points on the season and will face a Lakers team that is 14th-ranked in defensive rating. They don’t have any elite perimeter defenders with Jarred Vanderbilt being out due to an injury, and Ingram may have a good scoring night.
We could see Domantas Sabonis struggle against Nikola Jokic tonight. Even though Jokic isn’t an elite rim protector, he plays decently well against post-up heavy big men such as Sabonis. Jokic also has a size advantage over the Kings’ big man. Sabonis averages 19.9 points on the season but could get less than the 19.5 points projection this evening.
