Week 16 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks

Joe Flacco + Amari Cooper + David Njoku + Devin Singletary

  • Joe Flacco ($5,500 DraftKings, $7,300 FanDuel)
  • Amari Cooper ($6,400 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel)
  • David Njoku ($5,300 DraftKings, $6,600 FanDuel)
  • Devin Singletary ($5,500 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel)

Joe Flacco has thrust his way back into our lives, and he’s been chucking it for the Browns. He’s attempted at least 44 passes in each of his starts, with 17.16, 25.34, and 22.86 DraftKings points. Kevin Stefanski has been aggressive, which gives reason to be optimistic about Flacco.

Houston has allowed the eighth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing quarterbacks, and they’ve been trending in the wrong direction as of late.

Amari Cooper and David Njoku look like prime stacking targets, with Elijah Moore being a fine option as well.

Cooper saw 14 targets in Week 14 and popped off last week, catching four of eight targets for 109 yards and a touchdown. Houston has been susceptible to perimeter receivers, allowing the fourth-most yards per target to boundary receivers, where Cooper has run 85% of his routes with Flacco under center.

Njoku has been balling as of late, with 22 targets over the past two games.

We now get to partner Njoku’s great usage with a smash matchup, as Houston has allowed the second-most receptions per game to tight ends, and the eighth-most DraftKings points per game.

On the Houston side, Devin Singletary is handling too much volume to not be included as a bring back.  He took 26 carries for 121 yards while catching four of five targets for 49 yards last week. He’s cheap and correlates well with the Flacco double-stack.

Justin Fields + DJ Moore + Trey McBride

  • Justin Fields ($7,100 DraftKings, $8,300 FanDuel)
  • DJ Moore ($6,900 DraftKings, $8,200 FanDuel)
  • Trey McBride ($5,700 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel)

This stack isn’t going to go under the radar, but it profiles nicely this weekend.

Pressure has been Justin Fields‘ kryptonite, but Arizona can’t get after the quarterback. They have the league’s lowest blitz rate while owning the third-lowest pressure rate. Fields has averaged over eight yards per attempt when not pressured, compared to 4.6 yards when under pressure. Arizona has allowed the ninth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing signal-callers.

DJ Moore is the clear top target and gets a matchup with the Cardinals, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing top receivers and the fourth-most yards per target as a whole.

Trey McBride is an easy option on the Arizona side, as he carved up San Francisco last week. He saw eleven targets, catching ten balls for 102 yards. He’s seen at least nine targets in four of the five games since Kyler Murray returned, with over 22 DraftKings points in three of five games.

McBride gets a far beatable spot here, as Chicago has allowed the fourth-most catches per game to tight ends and fifth-most DraftKings points per game.
