There are an abundance of tools at FantasyLabs to use for your NFL DFS lineups each week. Our most popular tools are our NFL Player Models, which house our NFL DFS projections from Sean Koerner.
You can use these projections in our models with our Lineup Builder to hand-build your lineups or use our Lineup Optimizer to effortlessly create up to 150 lineups for your NFL DFS tournaments.
In this article, we will go position by position, highlighting my favorite plays for both cash games and single-entry/three-max GPP contests. These plays are also viable in large field tournaments but do not focus on ownership percentages.

NFL DFS Quarterback Picks
Josh Allen ($8,200 DraftKings, $9,200 FanDuel) Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs
Until DraftKings (or FanDuel) makes it impossible to fit Allen into our lineups, he will continue to headline this article every week. As it stands, the Bills have the highest implied total on the Week 6 main slate at 28.25. Allen has gone over 30 DraftKings points in every game but one this season and is easily the QB1 on the season so far. You can bet he and the Bills had this game circled for a while after last season’s Divisional Round thriller that saw the Chiefs win in overtime after winning the coin toss.
Allen absolutely torched the Steelers last week, posing 424 yards and four touchdowns on just 31 pass attempts. The Chiefs pass defense looked especially vulnerable as well, letting Davante Adams roast them for two long touchdowns. There are absolutely going to be fireworks in this game, and you’re going to want a piece. As we mention every week, no other QB in football accounts for more of his team’s touchdowns than Allen does.
He’s a no-brainer cash game option with all the value at running back we have this week.
Tom Brady ($6,300 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Just like last week, Brady will be featured here beside Josh Allen as he finds himself in another pristine spot against the hapless Steelers defense. The ageless wonder has now thrown 52, 52, and 42 times over his past three games respectively, a trend that’s likely to continue this week. All of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette are fully healthy right now, and Tampa might also be getting back starting tight end Cameron Brate for this game.
The Bucs boast the second-highest implied team total on the slate right behind the Bills at 27.5. The Steelers are simply not a good defense without T.J. Watt, and sportsbooks are giving them zero respect, as Tampa Bay is a ridiculous 9.5 road favorite in the game. We know the Bucs will throw and throw often, putting Brady firmly in play in all formats at just $6,300 on DraftKings.
NFL DFS Running Back Picks
Rhamondre Stevenson ($6,000 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel) New England Patriots @ Cleveland Browns
The first of three severely mispriced running backs on the slate, Stevenson came on in relief of Damien Harris last week and went bananas, posting 161 yards on 25 carries. He’s now set to take over the lead back duties against a Browns team that ranks dead last in rush defense DVOA, and that’s allowed the fifth most DK points to the position on the season.
Mac Jones might be back for New England this week, but regardless, expect to see a heavy dose of Stevenson on a team that sits seventh in the NFL in rush play rate. There isn’t much else to say other than you’re likely getting three down, plus goal-line work in a pristine matchup for $6,00 on DraftKings. He will be quite popular, but just find ways to differentiate elsewhere.
Darrell Henderson Jr. ($5,100 DraftKings, $5,700 FanDuel) Los Angeles Rams vs. Carolina Panthers
Cam Akers has been ruled out this week as he works out personal issues with the Rams, meaning we will see Darrell Henderson back in the workhorse role. We saw this setup in Week 1 when Akers was stuck on the bench, and DHJ received 13 carries and five targets. Expect a similar, if not larger workload this week in a game where the Rams are 10-point home favorites against the Panthers, a team who just fired their coach and are starting P.J. Walker at quarterback.
Obviously, no one saw this coming before pricing came out for the week, which is why Henderson only costs $5,100 on DraftKings and $5,700 on FanDuel. These are ridiculous prices for a starting running back under any circumstances, let alone one whose team is 10-point home favorites.
Eno Benjamin ($5,500 DraftKings, $6,300 FanDuel) Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks
Benjamin is about the only healthy running back on the Cardinals roster with James Conner and Darrel Williams both already ruled out for this potential shootout with the Seahawks. He’s a incredibly cheap $4,600 on DraftKings this week, and will likely be the highest owned player on the slate, regardless of position.
Through five games the Seahawks have allowed the second most rushing yards and third most receiving yards to opposing running backs. They’ve also ceded the third most DraftKings points allowed to the position as well. Kyler Murray likes to check down quite a bit, as James Conner has six, four, five and three targets in his four healthy games so far this year.
This is a no-brainer spot in cash games.
NFL DFS Wide Receiver Picks
Stefon Diggs ($8,400 DraftKings, $8,900 FanDuel) Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs
Everything said above regarding Josh Allen can be extrapolated to Diggs here. You are going to want some pieces of this game, and Diggs is in the best spot of all the pay-up options on the week. Even more so when you take into account that most of the value is at the running back position this week. It’s hard to watch what Davante Adams did to KC last week and not want to play the Bills WR1, especially when you consider he’s $500 cheaper than Justin Jefferson and $1,300 cheaper than Cooper Kupp.
Buffalo is getting Isaiah McKenzie and Dawson Knox back this week and should be at full strength on offense, but all that does is make it harder to double-cover Diggs.
Price considered he is the best receiver play on the slate.
Tyler Lockett ($5,600 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel) Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals
For a while there last week it looked like Lockett was pulling one of his patented disappearing acts, but he caught a long touchdown right before the half and then added another in the second half. He miraculously finished with 30.4 DraftKings points despite getting only six targets. The spot is much better this week in a pace-up game against the Cardinals at home.
This game has the second-highest total on the week at 50.5 in a game where Seattle could lean a bit more pass-heavy after losing Rashaad Penny for the season. Lockett has at least 14.1 or more DK points in each of his past four games and cost the same exact $5,600 he did last week despite his monster outing.
He’s also $1,200 less than fellow WR D.K. Metcalf, so if you are looking to target this game — which you should be — Lockett is a great play yet again.
Rondale Moore ($5,600 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel) Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks
Moore looked great last week in just his second game back from a hamstring injury that caused him to miss the first three weeks. The second-year wideout caught seven of his eight targets for 68 yards and even saw two rushing attempts as well. His catch rate will remain high due to his extremely low aDOT, but that’s great news for us on DraftKings as all these catches add up in full PPR scoring. He looks to be an important part of the offense now and at just $4,200 if he posts the same output as last week that’s more than enough to hit value.
God forbid Kliff Kingsbury could find more creative ways to get him the ball, but even with that Moore is a very strong salary saver in what should be a great game environment.
NFL DFS Tight End Picks
Tyler Higbee ($4,600 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel) Los Angeles Rams vs. Carolina Panthers
I am running out of things to say about Higbee at this point after another 10-target game against the Cowboys last week. Nobody on this Rams offense outside of him and Cooper Kupp are producing anything right now, so we can firmly expect this target distribution to continue until further notice. Higbee has a pretty low aDOT, but Sean McVay gets him involved with TE screens and in other creative packages. He’s yet to find the end zone, but that’s only a matter of time with the volume he’s receiving right now.
He’s not a screaming bargain at $4,600 on DraftKings, but there’s not a ton to love at the position this week outside of paying all the way up for Andrews/Kelce or paying all the way down for someone we will discuss in a second. The Rams should have success moving the ball in this spot and Higbee will remain involved.
Zach Gentry ($2,600 DraftKings, $4,600 FanDuel) Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The DraftKings punt tight end special is back for the second week in a row as Pat Freiermuth has been already been ruled out with a concussion. Gentry came on in relief last week and caught five of his six targets for 43 yards. The Steelers have a lot of pass catchers, but Gentry will be out there a bunch this week against the Bucs and should see another five-to-six targets in a spot where his team is trailing.
Playing him pretty much allows you to fit anything you want this week.
