We have an excellent 11-game main slate on tap for Week 16 that begins at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
This piece will highlight the top NFL DFS players at each position in our FantasyLabs Player Models in terms of their projected ceiling from our award-winning Director of Predictive Analytics, Sean Koerner.
Let’s dive in.
Top Model Quarterback Ceiling Projections
Lamar Jackson ($8,000 DraftKings; $9,300 FanDuel)
Jackson leading the week in ceiling projections is a surprise to nobody. The only problem is his price tag caught up to him, especially on DraftKings where he is a whopping $8,000. He’s been the most efficient quarterback this season by a longshot, averaging 0.91 fantasy points per dropback (PFF). The next-closest is Deshaun Watson at 0.59.
Implied team total is heavily correlated with quarterback performance and the Ravens boast the second-highest total on the slate at 29.75 points, trailing only the Seahawks. Seattle and Baltimore’s totals are at least two points higher than any other team.
Jackson is on the most efficient offense in the league as the Ravens rank first in both pass and rush DVOA this season. There isn’t too much that needs to be said about him at this point. He’s a strong play in all formats if you have the salary.
